Overview
My cardiovascular research explores the molecular mechanisms underlying cardiomyopathies, with a specific focus on genetic factors such as β-catenin and desmoplakin. I have investigated the roles of these molecules in cell cycle regulation, mitochondrial function, and cell death processes, like PANoptosis, in the heart. This research is directed toward identifying therapeutic targets and strategies to treat or prevent heart failure and other relevant conditions.
